CNC Punch Press Operator – North Aurora, IL

SUMMARY 

Responsible for assisting in the planning and operational functions that are necessary to achieve customer satisfaction! 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: · Setup and operate CNC machine tools to produce parts meeting blueprint specifications and tolerances · Quality record documentation · Incoming/In-Process/Outgoing Quality Assessment and reporting  

  • Properly complete daily labor reports, material move tickets and scrap tickets 
  • Follow routings and properly complete associated paperwork in accordance with set procedures 
  • Perform first piece inspect of manufactured parts to meet blue-print specifications and tolerances, and adjust setups accordingly to ensure a quality product is produced 
  • Train new operators in the setup and operation of CNC machine as required 
  • Train to be proficient on various machines with moderate supervisor and or crew leader instruction 
  • Responsible for communicating to Supervisor and or crew leader all machine related issues (i.e. machine down or damage to equipment) and or part availability

Design Engineer – North Aurora, IL

General Overview:

We are looking for an energetic Designer with manufacturing knowledge in the industrial and architectural markets. The Designer will provide world class customer service to your internal and external customers. With the title, Designer, you will be working under the direction of the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for delivery of design/build project work, from conceptual design through drawing completion.

This position will be based out of North Aurora, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.
  • Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and customers.
  • Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques.
  • Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and customers.
  • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
  • Work under the supervision of engineers or architects.
  • Prepare details construction and fabrication drawings for a wide range of acoustical products for the Architectural and Industrial markets including broadcast studios, industrial enclosures, medical rooms, product test chambers, HVAC plenums, barrier walls, etc.
  • Must be able to grasp design and assembly concepts in order to prepare complete piece-part Bills of Materials for entire acoustical products and facilities.
  • Experience in Autodesk Mechanical (Solidworks is a plus).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing procedures (Machining, Welding, etc.)
  • Design, organize and implement new equipment from initial concept to manufacturing.
  • Ordering of materials and supplies related to equipment layout.
  • Preparing cut sheets and procedure sheets for the factory
  • Professional coordination direct with customers and representatives is required.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering a plus.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or fabrication company.
  • Knowledge with ERP systems such as Visual, JDE or SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, proven ability to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations.
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Excellent technical aptitude, analytical and detail oriented. Technical ability to learn a diverse product line.

MIG Welder/Fabricator – North Aurora, IL

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 

Technical Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: The ability to make clean welds on sheet steel from 22ga through 10ga.; HRS, CRS, A60 Galvannealed 
  • Requires technical know-how, requires reading blueprints and understanding how the final product should look. 
  • Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to see flaws in welds or structural imperfections in the metal. 
  • The ability to communicate quality concerns. 
  • Operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operations to the Safety Director and Maintenance Department. 
  • Produces strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent. 
  • Follows required procedures and uses appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in assembly process. 
  • Maintains/produces a level of output that will minimize production delays. 
  • Cleans and maintains an orderly work area. 
  • Communicates effectively with others in a team environment.
  • Assist other individuals in area when needed. 

Experience: 1-3 years of steady MIG welding experience

Accounting Manager – North Aurora, IL

General Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to help oversee general accounting functions. Key responsibilities include managing and preparing month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, creation and maintenance of key GL schedules and assisting with day-to-day business activities such as billing. A successful Accounting Manager combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate also has experience collaborating in a team environment, feel comfortable managing people and processes, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 

Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end and year-end close process for three companies (manufacturing campus, two sales organizations plus consolidations). This will include A/P accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis etc.
  • GL reconciliations and variance reporting
  • Creation/maintenance of key balance sheet schedules such as CIP, prepaids, and fixed assets
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Participate in budget and forecast processes
  • Prepare and manage both customer and intercompany billing
  • Support accounts payable functions as needed
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Identify and implement departmental process improvements to increase efficiencies
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ad hoc reporting

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a plant or distribution environment
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with ERP Systems such as Visual, JDE, Quickbooks, etc.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Logistics Manager – North Aurora, IL

General Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Logistics Manager is to oversee the overall logistic operations, analysis, and evaluation of the inbound/outbound product lines as well as warehousing activities. The successful candidate is a working manager accountable for handling all activities related to shipping and receiving products from the manufacturing campus. When necessary, he or she will also cross-train and participate in other aspects of the business, particularly on the administrative side.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with carrier associate(s) to improve efficiency, productivity, communication, and processes to ensure expectations are met
  • Maintain listing of approved carriers/pricing/contract rate(s)
  • Analyze performance(s) of our daily inbound/outbound logistics
  • Manage warehouse and crating
  • Investigate and resolve all claim issues for all inbound/outbound shipment process for both international and domestic freight and communicate resolution(s) to appropriate department(s)
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports to senior management
  • Establish guaranteed domestic and international freight pricing for sales
  • Manage/maintain TMS system and web applications for customer routing as well as internal prices comparisons
  • Familiar with US and International customs compliance and the development of commercial invoices
  • Manage inbound container volume and work with warehouse to schedule deliveries for receiving
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management or related field is required.
  • 1 to 5 years of related job experience
